Welcome to Vaultex. By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.
Vaultex provides a secure, encrypted repository for storing passwords, credentials, documents, photos, videos, and other sensitive information. The Service is offered across free and paid subscription tiers, each with different storage limits and features.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your master password, recovery key, and any PINs or biometric access configured on your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You agree not to use the Service to store or distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, not to attempt to access other users' data, not to interfere with the Service's security or infrastructure, and not to reverse engineer or abuse the platform. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
You retain ownership of all content stored in your vault. Vaultex does not claim ownership of your data. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to store, encrypt, and display your content back to you when you access your account.
We use encryption to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. Because your master password derives your encryption key, we cannot recover your data if you lose your master password and recovery key. You acknowledge this risk and accept responsibility for safeguarding your credentials.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice.
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for downtime, data loss caused by your own account compromise, or issues beyond our control.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends, and your data may be deleted after a reasonable period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaultex and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from your failure to safeguard your master password or recovery credentials. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior twelve months.
We may update these Terms as our Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
